1.   Introduction. Untrained and unskilled man power is available in the country at a very large scale. The market has lot of potential in the employment sector but due to non availability of trained technical manpower this potential was being wasted. In the mid of Jun 2006, the management of LITE decided to harnes this manprower and decided to launch a Technical Institution. In 2006, this dream came true in the shape of Lahore Institute of Technical Education (LITE). 

2.   Preamble. In pursuance of the desire to exploit and develop human resourses, the management has established LITE.The institution is imparting technical and vocational training to civial youth.

3.   Vision. To establish a high quality, technical / vocational training institution with futuristic outlook by capitalizing on own organizational order and management prowess of own resources in order to contribute towards effective human resource development thus reducing poverty and alleviating unemployment from the country.
